Owners must respond to and confirm booking requests within 24 hours.

Please be sure to list the view type as it is shown on the resort's confirmation letter. We want to ensure that our Guests expectations are met, so the view type must be accurate. If your view type is not guaranteed, please select the lowest view category within the dropdown selection.

11. The view type that I would like to list is not available in the View dropdown menu. How do I list it?

The view types that display in the View dropdown menu are the only views available to list on VacationCandy. We base the view categories based off of each resort's guaranteed view types. If you have any questions regarding the available views for a particular resort, please let us know.

When an Owner adds a listing to VacationCandy’s Owner Dashboard, there will be an option to opt-in to the Expanded Distribution Network for 5% of the rental amount. If an Owner chooses to opt-in, the added listing will gain additional exposure through VacationCandy’s advertising network (examples: Vrbo, HomeAway). The 5% Fee that is charged by these third party advertises is passed along to the listing Owner if and only if the listing rents successfully.

15. Can I post a listing before I book specific dates with a resort?

You will be required to include the resort confirmation # as well as the name that the reservation is listed under so that we can verify the reservation details directly with the resort. Once verified, we will process the guest’s payment. Our Accounting team typically issues Owner payments within 48 business hours of finalizing a reservation. After you receive your initial payment, you will need to add the Guest’s name to the reservation promptly. It’s important to keep in mind that time is of the essence throughout the reservation process. Guests are accustomed to the ever increasingly, instantly bookable modern day way of e-commerce, so it’s critical that Owners do what they can to ensure a swift rental process.
